TUSA Mask & Swim Goggle Anti-fog

A mask that fogs constantly is a nuisance – it affects your vision underwater and makes you uncomfortable. Cleaning your new mask with toothpaste before you use it, cleans of the silicone residue from manufacture off the lens, but adding anti-fog keeps it clear when the hot moist air from your breathe enters the mask.

To apply anti-fog, coat the inside lens thoroughly with the gel or spray. When you get to the water’s edge, swirl some salt water in the mask to activate the anti-fog and remove any excess.

Don’t forget to clean your mask after the dive to remove any traces of salt and sand.  If you are not sure if it is clean. Swipe your finger on the inside of the mask and taste for salt. If your finger tastes salty then rinse again in warmer water to dissolve any salt residue.
